The second release from Sonic Mass Records is the self-titled debut by Washington DC’s Ignorant American. This collection of 17 unique compositions represents the beginning of Anthony Pirog’s creative output as a composer. Recorded between 2000 and 2002, Ignorant American runs the gamut from electro-acoustic ambient improvisations to disjointed and aggressive hardcore musings while always managing to exist in a playful space between garage rock experimentalism and contemporary composition.
